I bought this plaid cap at a thrift store a few block from my house and I've been trying to wear it with anything and everything since. It's one of those quirky items in my closet that isn't repeated on fashion blogs like the infamous Rockstud or Celine satchel (Shit Bloggers Wear Tumblr), not that popular fashion items are always 100% my flair anyway. I'm working on a post entitled "How to Thrift: The Definitive Guide" to share how you guys can add unique touches to your wardrobe.
Another item featured in this post is my vintage faux fur stole I also bought while thrifting. It belongs to my longline coat, but I can put it on most any outerwear with lapels to change up the look a bit. See how I wore this patterned coat last year in this post.
As for the rest of my outfit, I went simple in a perfect Other's Follow t-shirt dress, and these boots I can't get enough of. In other news, winter is boring and I'm ready for it to be over. January brought a lot of snow (albeit also some magical photos), but as a California girl, I'd rather be in shorts than in layers. Feel me?
