Eating My Way Through Jersey City

A couple of weekends ago I joined Taste the Style and Trends on Trends for a Jersey City scavenger hunt (read: food & booze tour!!). We tasted four restaurants, beginning the hunt at Park & Sixth with Bloody Marys and - wait for it - Philly Cheese Egg Rolls! Our next clue lead us to Union Republic for Chicken & Waffles and a dreamy peachy cocktail, but not before Jamal and I got lost on the way there! Ha. We eventually found the rest of the group and kept brunching. Can I call it a marathon brunch? As if we weren't already stuffed, Orale Mexican Kitchen was too irresistible to turn down. I'm talking about PORK BELLY TACOS. Dude. I will never look at another taco the way I did Orale tacos. Finally, we ended the outing at Dullboy Bar as we drank and ate our way into a food coma.

I was super impressed with what JC has to offer. After all, it's just a stone's throw away from Bushwick and endlessly Instagrammable. Hope you enjoy my photos and decide to check everything out for yourself!
