I'm so excited to share these photos from a recent trip upstate in Catskill! It was my first time exploring New York State, and I got to do it with some amazing bloggers and photographers. My friend Emma Jane Kepley, who shot this set, was one of the girls I got to road trip with. She implemented some pretty ingenious tools to put the color and effects in these photos. Always thinking outside of the box, I was so happy to work with Emma again on this project for Anne Klein.
The entire team rose for an early bird call time and we witnessed our "first snow" of the season. We drove to the Phoenicia Diner, a super quaint little eatery just off Main Street in Phoenicia. The light in the morning was amazing, though it was about 18 degrees outside, I bet you can't tell from the photos! Hah, at least, I hope not.
I chose this blue blazer to top off my box check blouse and grey trouser. I've always thought of Anne Klein as a classic womenswear brand, and I've found some vintage AK gems over the years to add to my closet. Though the styling here is rather working girl, I'd totally rock this trouser + blazer combo with a pair of hi-top chucks and a vintage tee shirt for a day off. That's the thing about timeless essentials, they'll get use in dozens of different outfits.
