One day the 90's woke up and said to the 80's, "Be gone! No more peplum, no more shoulder pads, we're going in a new direction called BODY CON!" Then, bodycon was born and worn by many a 90's babes. This new silhouette stripped the dresses of any extra bells and whistles. What was now on full display was the figure and form.
But the thing is, bodycon dresses scare me. How do you wear a
curve-hugging, panty line revealing, skin tight dress
without feeling put on the spot? My answer is a huge denim jacket. (We all know the real answer is
.. but let's save that for another post.) I paired my dress with a vintage jacket, threw on some western boots and slung a tiny purse over my shoulder.
